I made this quilt in January of 2012 - My sister Jeneen called and needed something colorful.  So she received this - I is coupled with a tiffany lamp and yellow bed cover.  It sounds like it found a great home.

Baby shower things

I have been quilting just haven't posted anything lately.  My Granddaughter JenaCarol is have a baby girl in June, so I have been doing things for the nursery.  This is what is complete so far.  I have just sent a baby quilt to my cousin JoAnn in California to quilt, and a banner to embroider for a Hanky quilt with the babies name.  Now to get the rocker finished.

Latest Prayer Squares

Scraps

Bought a new magazine for inspiration "S is for Scraps" and have taken my scrap stash and cut into various sizes of squares.  Great part-time job - goes faster than you would think.  Working on another Pink for Little Girl and putting together colors for  a quilt out of the new book.  Always a new direction to head into.

Gave away the pink

My friend Lenea came in from Florida to see her beautiful new granddaughter Brooklyn Rose Howe, so I gave her the latest Pink quilt to give to the baby.  She will embroider the baby's name and birthdate, but I am so pleased it will have a new home.  I have been busy with Prayers Squares, I will need to take on Gospel Trip at the end of June.  I am amazed at the number Karen and I have distributed in the past year, it has been a blessed mission for the two of us.  We are waiting to hear how we did in the McCall's Quilting Contest - Amateur division.  It was a great conversation item, we will be thrilled if we get to go on.

Victor

My beautiful Victor is almost 4 year old grandson,  he like Karate, but  today would like his dad not to take his picture.
Just finished Jeneen's table runner.  I love the colors, she had requested some white, grapes, so I took license and it has grapes - however green, grape color accents, on a white background.

Allison

Allison is having some back surgery in March, so I have made her a prayer quilt she can take to the hospital when she goes.  The One Voice Gospel - of which I am a member  - and many friends will pray for her quick recovery.    I have used lots of pink fabric with a hint of mint green - obviously pink is her favorite color.  This truly has been a labor of love.

Now on to February - I have been sorting fabric, moving it around, remembering what I have.  I think I am still in the "bright color" mode, maybe red I have alot of that.  I did make a heart wreath for the front door in red.  Need to take a picture of it.  Stay warm!...
Forgot to mention that the colorful Star quilt I followed a picture on "Ellison Lane Quilts" Blog

Pink four-point

Pink four-point star quilt, is another scrap quilt.  I think I will use the four pink stars in the center and reverse and use black stars around the outside of it.  A work in progress, fun for the winter.
Just finished the Star Quilt - quite colorful, was fun to do also I had seen it on another blog, I had no pattern and it was time consuming to figure out.   turned out well.

January Quilts

I made Harvey's quilt and sent it to Florida.  Matt told Harvey he got a package and opened it and Harvey laid on it immediately.  Love it.....Not hard to please a Boxer Puppy.....A fun project just scraps, I have been trying to use scraps - I figure I have until about 2015 before I am done.

Great Grand kids - won't Christmas be fun!

Mailings have arrived, Janet got the purple and orange, it looked like Arizona to me, Jeneen got wall hangings, looks like I forgot to take a picture.  She also got the Giraffe, to frame and give to Steph's boys.  Pillows were random gifts, make nice color in a room.  Still working on a blanket but I will keep that.  The table top will be for one of the girls.  Busy...busy....busy.
