Probably the last Christmas Quilt of the Season, being December 21, 2011 and all....I loved this quilt, I used the "Snow-Kissed Star" pattern in the latest McCall's Quilting magazine. - McCallsquilting.com. Nov/Dec, 2011 issue.  It is so bright and cheery.  Enjoy.  And Merry Christmas to all.

Great Grand kids - won't Christmas be fun!

Mailings have arrived, Janet got the purple and orange, it looked like Arizona to me, Jeneen got wall hangings, looks like I forgot to take a picture.  She also got the Giraffe, to frame and give to Steph's boys.  Pillows were random gifts, make nice color in a room.  Still working on a blanket but I will keep that.  The table top will be for one of the girls.  Busy...busy....busy.

My granddaughters the day before Thanksgiving at Amber's house.  What fun?
Barely finished this Christmas Quilt, put it in the Pastor's office at St Paul UCC in Saline.  Then the floods came and I had to put everything up and stop quilting for a while.

Doll Dresses finished

Doll Dress quilt finished, the inspiration for this quilt was in the McCall's Quilting Magazine March/April 2010 addition. I finished the dresses as I went along and found it great fun to create as I went along.

Quilts

Takes me almost as long to upload the pictures as it does to make the quilts - just kidding. Pink off to Janet's in Breckinridge, CO for the other twin bed. the Blue Table top for Amber's new home.

Now to add the finishing touches for a baby quilt for Stephani.

Too many misquitos to go outside and not enough bug killer to get rid of them so I will stay inside and finish.

two more quilts finished

This is from my original Blog, Linda (on the left) had a tablecloth her mother had embroidered in the 1960's, didn't know what to do with it. She brought it to me and after much thought, I squared it and quilted it, matching the original colors. She then painted a room for the quilt. We sent a picture to a quilt magazine, but didn't get published.
